<\/b><\/h2>\nJames Puffer began working with computerized forecasting systems in 1980 at Retail Systems, Inc. in Minneapolis. \u00a0During his years there Mr. Puffer helped to redesign and refine LOCUS, which was the leading sales tool used by supermarkets at that time. \u00a0In 1983 Mr. Puffer designed and created the PC version called MICRO LOCUS.<\/p>\n
Since leaving Retail Systems Mr. Puffer has designed and authored many forecasting systems, including SITESPLUS™ and WIN:PCW, the two most widely used sales forecasting systems in the world today. \u00a0He has authored specific systems for Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, and other countries.<\/p>\n
Mr. Puffer’s educational background included undergraduate and graduate studies in psychometrics at Iowa State University, and theoretical mathematics at the University of Minnesota, and advanced mathematics at\u00a0 Wayne State University in Detroit.
\nMr. Puffer is not only a highly skilled and experienced software engineer, but also an experienced site analyst. \u00a0He has conducted many studies from California to New York to Canada and Europe. \u00a0His technical skills combined with his practical experience as a functioning site analyst have made Mr. Puffer unequaled in his abilities to provide forecasting solutions for other supermarket companies.<\/p>\n
Sean Puffer<\/strong><\/p>\n After graduating with a degree in Computer Science, Sean worked for the City of Minneapolis in their IT \/ Technical Support department.\u00a0 He began working and training at Gravitec Development in 2015, studying field work with Bob Gorland and undergoing rigorous gravity model design training.<\/p>\n Sean is now Vice President of Software Development and the lead programmer for SITESPLUS.\u00a0 He has spoken many times at the Gravitec annual conference and provides unexcelled technical support.<\/p>\n Our clients include some of the largest and most profitable retailers and wholesalers in the world, including Kroger, Safeway (Albertson’s), Wegman’s, Wakerfern Food Corp., H-E-B Grocery, Hannaford Bros.
